Noted Chicago Architect To Speak At Tulane On Frank Lloyd Wright Restorations

Noted Chicago architect Gunny Harboe is speaking at Tulane University on Thursday about the complex $25 million restoration he led on a Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece – the Unity Temple in Oak Park, Illinois. The 1908 structure is one of many historic preservation projects he’s directed. Others are the Art Deco landmark Chicago Board of Trade, and the Illinois Supreme Court. But preserving Wright’s work is a specialty.
